Standard soft light thingStrengths: 1. Soften the light 2. Expands the light range Weakness: 1. Expensive (somewhat) 2. Size specific; will not work with other flashes (different fit) What can I say on this thing? This box thing is what I always use for doing the flashes. I also own another one, which is for my 580EX and it has been working really well. This soften bounce box is for my 430EX and it has been working as well as my other bounce box. It just works and makes the lights to have more spread. Now the box stays on my 430EX pretty much permanently and I use it for...

Work GreatStrengths: just simply works! Weakness: none Great diffuser! I really like this product. It is worth every penny! It diffuses your flash's light so you get a softer and more spread-out look to your flash. This little plastic box sticks perfectly on the 430 EX flash also. Love it!

Sto-fen Omni-BounceStrengths: Soften the light and easy to use Weakness: expensive I bought this diffuser for my Canon Speedlite 430EX. It fits perfectly on my 430EX and works great! This is a good way to create soft light. It is better than just bouncing off the ceiling. The price is expensive for this little plastic piece. Overall, I am happy about it and it is a must-have kit for Canon Speedlite 430EX flash.

Works great!Strengths: Easy to use Weakness: Somewhat pricy for a simple piece of plastic The omni-bounce works well with my Canon 430EX and does the job of diffusing the light. In enclosed rooms, the brightness is noticeably less harsh however with a wide angled lens the dispersion is not great enough. Advertisement

Strengths: Simple to use.
Weakness: Expensive for what it is.
I purchased this for my Canon 430EX Flash. I have noticed a dramatic difference in the pictures I take. The flash isn't as strong and harsh. It seems to bounce the light more evenly on my subjects (I mainly take pictures of my kids). It was easy to put on and fits very well on my flash. It does, however, seem to be very expensive for what it is. It is just a piece of plastic that is molded to fit...
