SanDisk Ultra II 4GB CompactFlash Card

Strengths: fast reliable card!

Weakness: Can't find any weaknesses!

I take lots of photos and I need a fast compact flash card. This is the best one I have! Reads and writes very fast, and reliable! This is worth the price!

Sandisk Ultra II 4.0GB

Strengths: Large amount of space.

Weakness: When shooting RAW with my Canon 20D, the reading/writting time is a bit slow.

After reading the reviews on the regular "Sandisk Ultra II 4GB" and the "Sandisk 4gb Extreem" I don't think I can justify paying that much more just because it can read/write faster. Maybe if the price was only $20 more I would be willing to pay that much more. Otherwise, I'm happy with the one I have.

Sandisk Ultra II 4.0

Strengths: Plenty of storage space. Should not run out of space on the go.

Weakness: Read speed slower because of the size of storage.

Definitely would probably upgrade to Sandisk Extreme III. If fast access speed is not a necessity, then this is the card for you. The write speed is superb. I use this card with my Canon Digital Rebel 300D.

Quality CF card at a sweet price.

Strengths: Capacity, speed, durability, price.

Weakness: None noted to date.

Recently stepped up from a point and shoot digital to a Nikon D200 10.2MP DSLR camera. Needed a high capacity CF card to capture RAW files + high res JPEG's. This 4GB Ultra II card is a great value ($/GB). I would highly recommend getting two of these 4GB cards instead of one 8GB card, as you will spend less and have an extra back-up card should one get lost or damaged.

Sandisk Ultra II 4gb CF

Strengths: Storage space, write speed (9mb/s), quality, reliability

Weakness: Higher risk in losing many photos if you lose it or it fails.

This is my favorite brand/model of CF card -- I own three others (of different storage capacity) and got this for an upcoming trip. The transfer rate is by far its greatest strength -- it is *fast*. Especially if you're shooting with a dslr, you'll love being able to hold down the shutter without any delay. The SanDisk Ultra II is reliable -- I've never had a card fail on me, but granted if this...

Sandisk 4Gb Ultra ll CF Card

Strengths: High capacity. Very fast. Sandisk reliability.

Weakness: None I can think of

I use a 8.2 megapixel camera and I certainly appreciate the high capacity with the reliability Sandisk is known for. Processing speed is excellent so I'm able to continully shoot without wiating for the card to catch up to the camera.. Highly recommended.

Very fast and reliable!

Strengths: Very high capacity. Very fast. Highly reliable.

Weakness: Transfer rate from card to PC is not as fast as the Sandisk Extreme III series of cards.

I had this card on loan for a month and just bought it for myself at a good price from Dell. The card has tons of capacity especially if you shoot RAW on a digital SLR such as the Canon 20D or the Rebel XT. This was the main attraction for me - no need to swap cards in the middle of a shoot any more. Write speed from camera to card is fast - the 5 frame/sec speed of the Canon 20D does not...

gobs of memory

Strengths: gobs of memory

Weakness: lack the extreme weather guarantee of the extreme III

I bought this card to go with my new Canon EOS 5d. Since it is full frame with a 12.8 megapixel sensor, I decided to go with the 4 GB card. According to the camera, I can get 189 pictures shooting at the highest setting plus RAW. I went to B&H (huge amazing camera store in Manhattan) and talked to a salesman. He recommended the Ultra II over the extreme due to lower cost and that since I'm not...

Love the Storage and Speed!

Strengths: Fast and large

Weakness: Unable to attain advertised speeds

This card is fast. However, I am unable to attain the advertised speeds of 10 MB/s read and 9 MB/s write in real life. SanDisk reported speeds are measured by HD Bench software. So the measurements are synthetic. But nevertheless the card is faster than a regular card and worth the premium. My 20D reports space for 970 large JPGs or 430 RAW after a fresh in-camera format. Of course actual numbers...

Great value on a spacious card!

Strengths: Size, speed, price

Weakness: None so far...

After purchasing a new Nikon D200, I found the file size was getting out of hand for my then - current 1 gig CF card. A little research and I found the 4 gig SanDisk - while not their fastest card, I find it's perfect for all but the most demanding high-speed work. Great size, (4 gig), and currently, great price, makes this card a winner.
